The Navigator Workplace Mission in Kansas City exists to help people apply Biblical wisdom to their personal and professional lives. In the Kansas City area, we have approximately 1.3 million private sector employees. Of these, approximately 80% do not attend church on a regular basis; most spend an average of40-60 hours each week at work. The opportunity to influence people with God’s Word and Christ-centered values is significant. The Workplace is one of the most strategic mission fields in the world today.
Our ministry approach includes helping people consistently engage God’s Word while helping Workplace believers connect to encourage each other in the faith. Some of our events are aimed at attracting the unchurched or Biblically disengaged. We do this through life stories of spiritual transformation with the goal of promoting spiritual conversations that will lead to a personal discovery of who Jesus is and what he has done for us. Finally, we want to recruit and mentor spiritual generations of laborers that will continue the quest of advancing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His Kingdom in the Workplace.
Our Workplace events include Business Luncheons, Servant Leader Roundtables for business owners, Bible Discussion Groups in the Workplace, and 1-2-1 Mentoring or Life Coaching.
